If you’re having problems recording a video with Vidrack.com:

  • Close all apps and browser windows on your device and retry your submission

    • Restart your device and try again

    • Switch internet to a wi-fi connection

    • Go close to your router for stronger signal strength

  • Try a different recording device

    • Devices older than 2 years can give issues

    • Mobile records better than desktop

  • Try a different internet connection

    • Upload speed is the biggest problem users face submitting videos. Try a connection with faster upload.

    • Poor cellular internet signal can give issues especially for users living far outside a city

  • Try a different browser

    • Don’t use an uncommon browser

    • Chrome, Safari, Explorer and Edge work best

  • mobile devices give the best video quality

These are some common issues experienced with Vidrack.

  • If you’re experiencing trouble submitting a video from a webcam on a desktop computer then please visit mailvu.com and test if you can record a video on this product. If it doesn’t work at MailVu then you have a webcam connection issue or your adobe flash player is out of date or not installed. These issues are beyond our control.
  • If you’re having issues with our Vidrack here are a few things you can try:
  • Try recording with different devices on different internet connections to rule out device and connectivity issues beyond our control.
  • Please ensure your WordPress, browsers, flash are up to date.
  • Vidrack sometimes has trouble with uncommon browsers.
  • Check if other plugins are conflicting by deactivating them. (WordPress Plugin Users)
  • There may be a conflict with your theme. If this is the case we recommend using our web application video recorder. (WordPress Plugin Users)
  • We have 2 Products a WordPress Plugin and a Video Recorder Web Application. If you’re using one of these and experiencing issues please try the other application if possible.

Issues beyond our control:

There are some elements that affect our product that are beyond our control. Vidrack has issues with Samsung devices older than 2 years, some lesser know mobile devices, Windows tablets and Google Chrome on Windows 10. Also some lesser known browsers that don’t meet web standards can sometimes have issues with our product.

If you have issues with desktop recording please ensure your flash is up to date and test your webcam setup at http://mailvu.com

Sometimes if a user is on a wifi connection that gets interrupted it can affect the video and audio sync.

These issues are web infrastructure and device related and will eventually work themselves out as browsers and devices become more standardized.
